About the event
🌿 Death Café with Avery Bright
Join my Zoom Virtual Death Cafe every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month for an intentional, heart-centered space where we gather to talk openly about death, dying, grief, end-of-life support, planning and legacy or anything you would like to discuss around the topic of death. These conversations are rooted in community care and decolonized death practices, with a focus on centering Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), BIPOC LGBTQIA2S+, and other marginalized communities.
✨ While all are welcome, please note that our discussions intentionally center the diverse Black experiences across the globe. This is a space for storytelling, shared wisdom, and authentic dialogue—where grief is honored, healing is supported, and life’s impermanence is explored with compassion.
🕊️ Come as you are—bring tea, snacks, and an open heart.
