You're invited to join Avery Bright for a heart-centered virtual Death Cafe—an open and inclusive space to gather in community and talk about death, dying, grief, legacy and everything in between. These events are offered as part of my death care and advocacy work through Bright Young Life Management.
At our monthly Death Cafes, there is no set agenda—just an invitation to show up as you are. Through storytelling, compassionate conversation, and deep listening, we make room for reflection, healing, and connection across identities and experiences.
🕊️ Rooted in womanism, community care, and decolonized death practices, this offering centers Black, POC, LGBTQIA2S+ and other marginalized voices. I also acknowledge that we are gathering from occupied Indigenous land—specifically Tongva territory, also known as Inglewood/Los Angeles, California.
